Privacy

Effective 1 July 2026

The short version: you never give us your writing, we don't make you an account, and the little we do hold — your answers and, if you share it, your email — exists only to generate and deliver your voice file. We don't sell it, and we don't train anything on it.

What we collect

  • Your answers. The choices you make in the builder — option picks, slider positions, and the couple of short word lists you can optionally type (words you love, words you ban). This is what your voice file is generated from.
  • The name you give the voice — a name, brand, or project label you choose.
  • Your email, if you give it. Used to send you your file and your Voiceprint ID, and — if you don't opt out — occasional Timbrel updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works.
  • Basic analytics. Page views and funnel events (like "started the builder"), so we can see where the product loses people. On marketing pages we also use the Meta pixel to measure whether our ads work; it sets a cookie. Our checkout and builder answers are never shared with Meta.

What we never collect

  • Your writing. Timbrel never asks you to paste, upload, or type your prose. There is nothing of your work to store, leak, or train on.
  • An account. No sign-up, no password, no profile.
  • Card details. Payments are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We never see your payment information — we're only told that a purchase happened, and for which Voiceprint ID.

Where it lives

Your answers (and email, if given) are stored keyed to your Voiceprint ID on Cloudflare's infrastructure, so we can regenerate your file, honor free engine updates, and re-send it when you lose it. That's the whole record.

Who touches it

  • Cloudflare — hosting and storage.
  • Resend — sends the delivery emails.
  • Lemon Squeezy — payments, as merchant of record (their privacy policy governs checkout).
  • Meta — ad measurement pixel on marketing pages only.

No data brokers, no resale, no "partners."

Deleting your record

Email hello@timbrelai.com from the address on file (or include your Voiceprint ID) and we'll delete your stored answers and email. Your downloaded files are yours and unaffected — nothing phones home.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so plainly on this page and update the date above.
